< p > In this paper, a hybrid carrier frequency offset estimation scheme is applied to the multi carrier system based on universal filter. In this scheme, the CFO estimator is first derived based on the least square (LS) criterion to obtain a coarse frequency offset estimation using a large frequency search step. Then, the residual frequency offset is estimated accurately and the autocorrelation operation is compensated. The algorithm has a larger estimation range and higher estimation accuracy.
